ZIP SHADE
WT-ZIPP is a motorised Zip shade system engineered to deliver exceptional blackout performance, light control and fabric stability. Designed for integration into high-end residential and commercial projects, the system is particularly suited to home cinemas, media rooms, bedrooms and other applications where precise management of ambient light is critical.
A fabric retention profile is welded to the vertical edges of the shade and captured within dedicated side channels, creating a secure perimeter seal that significantly reduces light ingress whilst ensuring the fabric remains permanently retained. This Zip retention system provides improved fabric stability, minimises edge gaps and enables reliable operation across a wide range of window sizes.
Available in two formats:

No headbox, for recess mounting, UniChannel compatible
HEADBOX
White decorative aluminium head box for surface mounting
Available in a range of sizes and fabric options, WT-ZIPP can be integrated with leading home automation and building control systems, making it the ideal choice for projects where performance, reliability and aesthetics are equally important.

OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE
The welded Zip and side channel system creates a secure, continuous connection between the fabric and guide channels. This ensures the shade remains permanently retained throughout its travel, improving fabric stability, reducing edge light leakage and delivering reliable operation across large openings and demanding applications.
Home cinema environments place exceptionally high demands on light management. When specified alongside Future Automation's UniChannel recess system, WT-ZIPP can achieve an enhanced blackout effect by eliminating light leakage around the head of the shade, helping to create the optimum viewing environment.
